How the fashion industry can act to reduce its carbon emissions?

To align with the 1.5-degree pathway over the next 10 years, the fashion industry should intensify its efforts. In practice, that means embracing accelerated abatement, which is estimated to reduce annual emissions to around 1.1 billion tonnes, around half of today’s figure.

Rates tell us a lot... Having a 20% share of our influence during product use as final consumers means that we can change many things with our behavioral changes.

The average share of raw materials and production stages has a fairly large ratio of 70%. We can contribute to reducing the carbon emission both by taking care of our clothes under the right conditions and by choosing second-hand clothes.
